Her body was discovered on Highway 23 at mile marker 52. The North Dakota Highway Patrol received a report about a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle shortly before 4 a.m. The witness at the scene stated that the vehicle involved in the incident fled from the scene. The FBI is leading the investigation and is urging anyone with information to contact them or the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
