The remains of a man wanted in connection to the shooting death of Aryeh Wolf, a Baltimore man, have been found by police in Washington, D.C. The shooting occurred in August 2022 while Wolf was installing solar panels. The suspect, Avery Miler, was later spotted by police but fled and barricaded himself in a nearby building. Avery Miler, who was sought after in connection with the fatal shooting of Aryeh Wolf in August 2022, has been discovered deceased, according to authorities. The incident occurred during daylight hours on August 10, 2022, in Southeast D.C., while Wolf was installing solar panels on a building. When police responded to the scene, they found Wolf suffering from gunshot wounds and he later succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital. The authorities subsequently identified Avery Miler, a 27-year-old resident of Southeast D.C., as a suspect in the case.

In September 2022, D.C. Police received a 911 call from a resident who spotted Miler in Northeast D.C. Upon arriving at the location, officers encountered a man matching the caller’s description. Miler, however, brandished a firearm and fired multiple shots at the officers before fleeing to a nearby residential building, where he barricaded himself. A search operation was initiated, and the United States Marshall Service and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives joined the investigation.
