A fatal three-vehicle crash involving a school bus occurred in Walton County, Georgia. The driver of a grey Lexus SUV failed to yield while making a left turn and collided with the school bus. No injuries were reported on the bus, but the driver of the Lexus, identified as Ashley Callahan, 40, of Good Hope, died at the scene. Georgia State Patrol is investigating the incident. Highway 81 is closed as a result of the crash. Your Local News reported

No passengers on the bus were injured, but there was a fatal accident involving a vehicle. The Georgia State Patrol was called to investigate the crash in Walton County, which occurred at the intersection of Georgia 81 and Ozora Church Road. According to Trooper Dillon Rutledge, the accident occurred when a grey Lexus SUV turned left from Ozora Church Road onto Georgia 81, heading north. At the same time, a Walton County school bus was traveling south on Georgia 81. The driver of the Lexus failed to yield and collided with the school bus. Thankfully, the driver and her two children on the bus were unharmed. Unfortunately, the driver of the Lexus, identified as Ashley Callahan, 40, of Good Hope, did not survive the crash. Walton County Fire Rescue personnel were also on the scene, reporting that there were no injuries on the school bus but one person was critically injured. As a result of the accident, Highway 81 was closed for an extended period of time. Georgia State Patrol was enroute to the scene to further investigate the incident..
