The victim of a fatal shooting at a Bradenton arcade has been identified as a 33-year-old man. Dwight Evans Jr. was found at the Gold Rush Arcade with multiple gunshot wounds and later died in the hospital. The investigation is still ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Gold Star Club and Crime Stoppers, is offering rewards for information leading to an arrest in the case. Michael Moore Jr. reported

A 33-year-old man from Bradenton, Florida, has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred in the parking lot of an arcade in the early hours of Sunday. Dwight Evans Jr. was discovered at the Gold Rush Arcade located at 5107 17th Street West, with multiple gunshot wounds. According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, Evans was provided with immediate medical assistance, including the application of a tourniquet to his leg, before being transported to HCA Florida Blake Hospital. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

The parking lot where the shooting took place is commonly used as an overflow area for the Touch of Class Lounge on 51st Avenue during the night. The sheriff’s office has confirmed that evidence was collected from the scene, and they are actively pursuing several leads in their investigation. However, as of Wednesday morning, no arrests have been made.

Homicide detectives are currently seeking any information that may shed light on the events leading up to the fatal shooting. This case remains an active investigation, and both the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office and the Gold Star Club of Manatee County have offered an additional reward of $5,000 for any information that leads to an arrest.
