The victim of a fatal shooting in the parking lot of an arcade in Bradenton has been identified as a 33-year-old man. Dwight Evans Jr. was found with multiple gunshot wounds and later died in the hospital. The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the incident and is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest. No arrests have been made at this time. The identity of the victim involved in a fatal shooting that took place in the parking lot of an arcade in Bradenton has been revealed. The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office has identified the deceased as Dwight Evans Jr., a 33-year-old man from Bradenton. The incident occurred at the Gold Rush Arcade located at 5107 17th Street West in the early hours of Sunday morning. Evans was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds and was immediately given medical attention, including the application of a tourniquet to his leg. He was then transported to HCA Florida Blake Hospital where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.

The parking lot where the shooting took place is utilized as an overflow area for the nearby Touch of Class Lounge on 51st Avenue during nighttime. The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office has stated that they have collected evidence from the scene and are actively pursuing several leads in the ongoing investigation. As of Wednesday morning, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the events leading up to the shooting to come forward. The case remains open, and detectives are actively seeking additional details. The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Gold Star Club of Manatee County, is offering a reward of an additional $5,000 for anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest in this case.
