Authorities are currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred after a street takeover in the unincorporated Florence-Firestone area of South Los Angeles on Monday morning. The incident took place at around 2:50 a.m. at the intersection of Firestone Boulevard and Hooper Avenue, as reported by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots. One individual, identified as 24-year-old Kevion Randall, was found at the intersection with at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead. Another man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. Although there were reports of a street takeover in the vicinity during the time of the shooting, it is uncertain if the two incidents are connected. The investigation is ongoing..
