Sadly, the man succumbed to his injuries several days later while receiving medical treatment at a local hospital. The deceased has been identified as Jesus Sanchez, a 45-year-old resident of Northwest, D.C. Authorities have now released photographs of the car associated with the shooting, describing it as a newer model, four-door black Mercedes Benz SUV. The images were sourced from a nearby surveillance camera, although the license plate originates from an unidentified state.
