A man accused of hitting and killing a pedestrian in Atmore, Alabama, is currently in the hospital. This is not his first time being involved in a death. The victim, 24-year-old Hannah Martin, was struck by a vehicle driven by Kenneth Harrison. Harrison was then attacked and beaten by bar patrons, and is now on life support. In 2011, Harrison was charged with murder in another death. The incident is currently under investigation by the Atmore Police Department. Debbie Williams reported

In Atmore, Alabama, a tragic incident occurred over the weekend resulting in the death of 24-year-old Hannah Martin. As she was crossing Highway 31 near downtown Atmore, a 2005 Chevy Tahoe driven by 45-year-old Kenneth Harrison struck her, causing her body to land in the parking lot of The Tavern Sports Bar. Despite efforts to save her, Martin was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Shockingly, this is not the first time Harrison has been involved in a fatal incident.

Following the collision, Harrison himself became the target of an enraged mob of bar patrons who launched a violent attack on him in the parking lot. The assault was so severe that Harrison had to be airlifted to a trauma center, where he currently remains on life support. The Atmore Police Department is currently investigating the attack on Harrison, reviewing video footage and conducting interviews with witnesses.

Remarkably, this is not the first time Harrison has faced charges related to the death of another individual. Back in 2011, he was charged with murder in Baldwin County for the killing of Sanford Lee Ledbetter, a 54-year-old man from Elberta. Ledbetter had gone missing in 2005, and it wasn’t until 2006 that skeletal remains were discovered at M&M Bog arena near Elberta. After four long years, the remains were positively identified as Ledbetter’s. Harrison ultimately confessed to beating Ledbetter to death and pleaded guilty to manslaughter, resulting in a 15-year prison sentence.

Now, tragically, it is Harrison who is fighting for his own life after being involved in yet another deadly incident. The Atmore Police Department is diligently investigating the circumstances surrounding both the collision and the subsequent attack on Harrison. By analyzing video evidence and questioning witnesses, they hope to uncover the full truth of what transpired..
