A man from Pulaski County, Virginia, who was reported missing, has now been arrested and charged with second-degree murder. Korey Rice is also facing charges of using a firearm in the commission of a felony, malicious wounding, and brandishing a firearm. The arrest is in connection to a shooting that took place in Fairlawn, where Mathew Carper of Blacksburg was fatally shot. On July 30th, Pulaski County deputies promptly responded to a shooting incident on Overlook Lane, where they discovered a male victim with a gunshot wound.
