“Tragic Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of Kiel Forgitano in Exeter, New Hampshire”

EXETER, New Hampshire – A catastrophic solo motorcycle accident occurred on Route 101 westbound in Exeter, New Hampshire, on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at approximately 10:19 a.m. The incident was promptly reported to the New Hampshire State Police Troop A. Upon arriving at the scene, investigators determined that the motorcyclist, identified as Kiel Forgitano, a 25-year-old resident of Raymond, New Hampshire, had lost control of his Aprilia motorcycle.

Preliminary findings suggest that Forgitano swerved off the road, west of exit 9, and collided with a tree. The impact of the crash inflicted life-threatening injuries on him. Nearby witnesses immediately halted their activities and rushed to provide immediate medical assistance to Forgitano. They continued to aid him until emergency services arrived. Subsequently, Forgitano was transported to Exeter Hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after receiving medical attention.

The New Hampshire State Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Unit, together with Exeter Fire/EMS and the Exeter Police Department, rendered invaluable support at the scene to facilitate the investigation into the crash.

Although excessive speed is believed to have played a role in the accident, law enforcement officials stress the importance of conducting a comprehensive investigation to ascertain all aspects of the case.
