A driver has died over a week after a crash in Union County, South Carolina. The crash occurred on July 27 on Highway 9, and involved a 2019 Ford pickup truck and a 2000 Chevrolet pickup truck. The driver of the Chevy pickup truck attempted to turn left on Vaughan Road and collided with the Ford pickup on the driver’s side. The driver and front passenger were hospitalized, but the driver later succumbed to their injuries. The driver of the Chevy pickup truck has been charged with unlawful passing. WYFF reported

According to the authorities, a 2019 Ford pickup truck and a 2000 Chevrolet pickup truck were both traveling south on Hwy 9. The driver of the Chevy pickup truck attempted to make a left turn onto Vaughan Road but collided with the Ford pickup truck on the driver’s side during the maneuver. The driver and front passenger of the Ford truck were taken to the hospital for treatment, but unfortunately, the driver succumbed to their injuries on Friday.
