David Algarin Jr., aged 30, was involved in a shooting incident on Saturday evening at the intersection of S. Centerville Road and South Street. The victim, a 39-year-old woman from Sturgis, was promptly taken to the hospital but sadly passed away from her injuries. Law enforcement is working diligently to identify the perpetrator and establish any connections between the two shootings. Deputies from the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office joined forces with the initial investigation and were able to identify the suspect.
