A Hurricane man has been arrested after a fatal shooting at the Eagles Lodge in Hurricane, Utah. The victim, a 41-year-old male resident, was pronounced dead at the scene. Bryan Hill, 55, has been identified as the alleged shooter and was taken into custody without incident. A man from Hurricane, Utah, has been apprehended following a fatal shooting that occurred at the Eagles Lodge on the evening of Friday, August 5, 2023, according to reports from Gephardt Daily.

Upon receiving notification at approximately 11 p.m., the Hurricane City Police promptly arrived at the scene situated at 495 E. 800 North.

An official statement from the HCPD described the situation, stating, “Upon arrival, officers discovered the male victim who had sustained gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, the victim was unable to overcome his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. In consideration of the deceased’s family, the victim’s identity will not be disclosed at this time.”

The statement also mentioned that several eyewitnesses identified the alleged perpetrator as Bryan Hill, aged 55.

Following this identification, Bryan Hill was located and arrested without any complications at his residence in the vicinity of 600 West 100 North, Hurricane, around 12:50 a.m. on August 5, 2023. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing, and additional information will be released as it progresses, as per the HCPD.

The Hurricane City Police Department expressed their deepest condolences and sympathy to the family and friends of the victim.
