A 19-year-old woman from Kansas City, Kansas has tragically died after drowning at Lake of the Ozarks. The incident occurred at Ha Ha Tonka State Park and the victim, Yolanda Munoz-Garcia, was swimming in the current when she began to struggle. A 19-year-old woman from Kansas City, Kansas has tragically died in a drowning incident at Lake of the Ozarks. The incident occurred at Ha Ha Tonka State Park on July 29, just before 1:30 p.m., as reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The victim was swimming in the current when she began to struggle and eventually went underwater without resurfacing. Fortunately, a bystander was able to bring her back to the surface a few moments later. Sadly, the young woman, identified as Yolanda Munoz-Garcia, passed away at St. Luke Medical Center on July 31 at around 6 p.m. In order to support the victim’s family during this difficult time, a GoFundMe page has been established..
