A 19-year-old woman from Kansas City, Kansas has tragically died after drowning at Lake of the Ozarks. The incident occurred at Ha Ha Tonka State Park and the victim, Yolanda Munoz-Garcia, was swimming in the current when she began to struggle. The incident occurred at Ha Ha Tonka State Park on July 29, just before 1:30 p.m., as reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The victim was swimming in the current when she began to struggle and eventually went underwater without resurfacing. Fortunately, a bystander was able to bring her back to the surface a few moments later.
