The collision took place in the evening when a 2002 Honda attempted to cross the railroad tracks while traveling west on a farm access road. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office stated that the driver failed to adhere to a traffic control device near the tracks. The individuals who lost their lives in the incident have been identified as Catarino Hernandez Guzman, aged 31; Francisco Lopez, aged 33; and Jesus Carrera Avendano, aged 22.
