Cherokee County in Texas recently witnessed a tragic incident in which a man from Mount Selman lost his life. The victim, David Sartain, aged 56, was identified through a press release issued on Friday. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with this case.

The Cherokee County sheriff’s office was alerted about a deceased individual on County Road 3429 at approximately 2:20 a.m. Upon investigation, it was determined that the death was a result of homicide. Although a person of interest was located on Wednesday evening after an extensive search, they are not currently considered a suspect, as stated by Cherokee County Sheriff Brent Dickson.
