A motorcyclist was fatally injured in a collision with a car on Route 111 in Salem. The motorcycle was traveling east when it was hit by a Volvo turning left onto Route 111 from Ermer Road. The victim has been identified as Terry Ware, 65, of Newton. The driver of the car was unhurt and is cooperating with the investigation. Route 111 was closed for several hours following the crash.
