The crash occurred around 1 a.m. and involved an SUV and a patrol car. The deputy suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital, while Moore did not sustain any injuries. A motorist has been charged with driving while intoxicated following a collision with a deputy’s vehicle after running a red light in Hillsborough County, Florida. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. near the intersection of Valrico Road and Lumsden Road. The collision involved an SUV and a patrol car belonging to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Fortunately, the deputy sustained only minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. The driver of the SUV, identified as Brittany Moore, did not suffer any injuries. Authorities arrested Moore on charges of driving under the influence and also issued a citation for her failure to stop at the red light.
