Three swimmers, identified as family members of a U.S. Marine, were found dead near NAS Pensacola after being swept away by rip currents. The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office was called to assist and recovered the bodies over the course of Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Alexa Daly reported
Three individuals were discovered deceased after a search near NAS Pensacola, as stated by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office. Upon responding to an emergency at NAS Pensacola, the sheriff’s office found one swimmer dead, while the bodies of two others were recovered the following morning. It has been determined that the three individuals were family members of a U.S. Marine. The sheriff’s office suspects that they may have been carried away by rip currents..
