Pueblo police have issued an arrest warrant for Robert James Rudichar, charging him with murder and cruelty to animals in connection with the shooting death of Franklin Bruner and his dog. Bruner was killed outside his home in Pueblo, Colorado. Rudichar was later arrested in Las Vegas, New Mexico, after allegedly firing a rifle at police officers during a traffic stop. A man has been charged with first-degree murder and animal cruelty in connection with the shooting death of a Pueblo man and his dog. The suspect, Robert James Rudichar, 43, allegedly shot 46-year-old Franklin Bruner multiple times outside his residence on Berkley Avenue. The incident was reported to the Pueblo Police Department on Saturday night. While Bruner’s dog received medical attention, it had to be euthanized due to the severity of its injuries. Rudichar was apprehended in Las Vegas, New Mexico, after allegedly firing shots at police officers during a traffic stop.
