A Moreno Valley man, Gerardo Martin, has been arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon after he threatened a man with a shotgun. The incident occurred two days prior to Martin’s arrest, and police were called to his residence where he was armed with a shotgun and destroying the house. Martin was taken into custody without incident and is currently booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center. A man from Moreno Valley has been apprehended and charged with assault with a deadly weapon after authorities were alerted to a domestic disturbance at his residence. The incident occurred on July 31, and deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department arrived at the scene to find the suspect, Gerardo Martin, alone inside the house while his family members were outside. Following an investigation, it was discovered that Martin had threatened another man with a shotgun two days prior. A search warrant was obtained, and Martin was taken into custody without any complications. He has since been booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on charges of assault with a deadly weapon. The authorities are still looking into the matter and are seeking additional witnesses.
