The press conference is set to commence at 11 a.m. The incident took place at an apartment complex on College Drive near Holloway Avenue on the evening of Friday, July 21st. According to authorities, the suspect, identified as 23-year-old Dantonior Stalling, was fatally shot after allegedly disregarding verbal commands from the police and aiming a firearm at them. Law enforcement was summoned to the location at approximately 9:30 p.m. following reports of a shooting involving Stalling and Dyshon Williams, an 18-year-old individual, who was later determined to be part of a custody dispute. Both Stalling and Williams were transported to the hospital but succumbed to their injuries. Following departmental policy, three officers from the BRPD have been placed on administrative leave in relation to the incident. Further updates regarding the case are expected..
