The incident occurred when deputies responded to a shooting at a residence, resulting in the death of a 20-year-old man and injuries to a 19-year-old female and an 18-year-old male. Bondurant was apprehended after his vehicle crashed into a fence. He confessed to using a gun belonging to the deceased victim and shooting the other victims without providing a motive. Ethan Bondurant, who pleaded guilty in May, was convicted of second-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action, two counts of first-degree assault, and one count of second-degree assault. The incident occurred when authorities were alerted to a shooting at a residence on Carney King Road in northeastern Moniteau County. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a deceased 20-year-old male and two injured individuals, a 19-year-old female and an 18-year-old male. The wounded male was airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia, while the female was transported by ambulance. Bondurant’s vehicle was later found off the road and stuck in a fence, prompting deputies to apprehend him. During questioning, Bondurant allegedly confessed to taking a 9mm pistol from the victim’s room and firing at the two surviving victims, although he did not provide a motive for the deceased victim..
