Authorities responded to a shooting incident on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at approximately 7:42 a.m. in the 600 block of Longwood Court in Edgewood. Patrol deputies from the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office rushed to the scene following reports of gunfire.

Upon arrival at 7:44 a.m., law enforcement discovered the victim, identified as 33-year-old Tyrell Orlando Polley, suffering from gunshot wounds. Sadly, Polley was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division took over the investigation, with assistance from the Forensic Services Unit, who collected and preserved physical evidence at the crime scene.
