Two teenagers have been arrested for the murder of 15-year-old Tyler Eubanks in Illinois. Eubanks was lured to an abandoned building where he was attacked and killed. Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the brutal killing of a 15-year-old boy, according to Illinois police. Decatur Police Department Chief Shane Brandel revealed that the victim, Tyler Eubanks, was lured to an abandoned building on Sunday, July 30. Upon conducting a welfare check, officers discovered Tyler’s lifeless body. The police chief expressed his shock and disbelief, stating, “A teenager was brutally murdered by other teenagers, for no apparent reason.”

Although Tyler was reportedly stabbed, the motive behind the attack remains unclear. The incident occurred just a few blocks away from his mother’s house. Two 15-year-olds have been taken into custody in relation to the alleged murder, although official charges have not yet been filed as of Tuesday morning.

Family members described Tyler as a talented basketball player who enjoyed video games and had aspirations of attending UCLA. His aunt, Danesha Eubanks, referred to him as “a hidden gem” and a legend in their eyes. Tyler’s pastor, Todd McClelland, spoke highly of him, emphasizing his vision and dreams.

Tyler’s mother, Dionica Eubanks, expressed her grief, stating, “This is a nightmare I wish I could wake up from. That smile right there, I’ll never get the chance to see it again.”
