The incident took place at the intersection of Eastlake and Rojas at approximately 6:06 a.m. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office swiftly responded to the scene. The driver of a Ford Focus, identified as 28-year-old Carlos Balandran, was found unconscious. Medical personnel were immediately summoned to provide assistance. Unfortunately, Balandran succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a local hospital.
