Colorado Springs, CO – The El Paso County Coroner has identified the victim of a tragic auto-pedestrian crash that occurred on July 22 on southbound I-25, just north of Woodmen Rd, as 22-year-old Skylar Christensen. The incident, which involved a vehicle and a pedestrian, occurred shortly before midnight.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers from the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) discovered that Christensen had been struck by a car and suffered life-threatening injuries. Tragically, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead, according to CSPD.

At present, no arrests or charges have been made in connection with the case. CSPD has stated that neither speed nor alcohol are considered factors in the ongoing investigation.
