The Sawang Boribun Thamma Sathan rescue centre and doctors from Pattaya Hospital rushed to the scene upon receiving the distress call. However, despite their efforts to resuscitate the tourist, identified as Hamad Alblaiher, he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. The police are still working on identifying his nationality.
The café staff shared that Alblaiher was a regular customer who always ordered marijuana tea along with a glass of water. Interestingly, they noted that he never smoked marijuana at the café. Shockingly, Alblaiher suddenly complained of breathing difficulties before collapsing. The staff promptly contacted emergency services for assistance.
