FRISCO, Texas — A tragic incident occurred in Frisco on Sunday morning, resulting in a fatal crash and the subsequent arrest of a 19-year-old resident on charges of intoxication manslaughter. The incident took place around 7:30 a.m. on October 24, near the intersection of US 380 and Coit Road.

According to the Frisco Police Department, a grey Toyota 4Runner was traveling east on US 380 when it collided with a light pole in the median. The force of the impact caused a passenger to be ejected from the vehicle.

The passenger, identified as 21-year-old Erick Gonzalez from Frisco, was immediately transported to a local hospital by the Frisco Fire Department. Tragically, he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle, 19-year-old Tello Hernandez, was arrested at the scene and now faces charges of intoxication manslaughter, a second-degree felony.
