Police are currently investigating a fatal altercation that took place outside a popular nightclub in Hollywood. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning near Santa Monica Boulevard and Wilcox Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The altercation involved a victim and a large group, with the LAPD reporting that the victim was physically assaulted by approximately nine suspects. Although a security guard was somehow involved, it remains unclear if they sustained any injuries.

Tragically, one person, identified only as a man, was transported to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

All nine suspects fled the scene, and as of now, no arrests have been made. The LAPD has not provided additional details about the altercation.
