Stephen John Corbin, a 65-year-old man from Yucca Valley, has been identified as the victim in a motorcycle crash in Lakeside, California. The collision occurred on July 16 on State Route 67, where Corbin laid his motorcycle down and struck the center divider for unknown reasons. Man Killed in Lakeside Motorcycle Crash Identified
The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man who was killed in a motorcycle crash in Lakeside earlier this month. The deceased has been identified as Stephen John Corbin, a 65-year-old resident of Yucca Valley, according to the medical officials.
The fatal collision occurred on July 16 on northbound State Route 67 near Slaughterhouse Canyon Road, as reported by the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
According to the authorities, Corbin was traveling on SR-67 when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of his motorcycle and laid it down, ultimately colliding with the center divider.
The motorcycle and Corbin slid along the roadway for approximately 300 feet from the point of impact with the center divider, as stated by the CHP.

A passerby who witnessed the accident provided immediate life-saving measures to Corbin until deputies arrived at the scene.
Unfortunately, despite the efforts of the passerby and first responders, Corbin was pronounced dead at the scene.
