Officials are currently investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Lincoln County, Oklahoma. The accident took place on State Highway 99 near Stroud around 1 a.m. this morning. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) reported that one of the passengers in the car, a 36-year-old man from Stroud, tragically died at the scene. The driver and a 12-year-old passenger were taken to the hospital for treatment and were eventually released. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

In related news, Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle crash at around 1:30 a.m. on East 810 Road, located three miles north of Stroud. The car involved in the crash had three occupants, and sadly, one of the passengers was pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased victim has been identified as Brian Burke, a 36-year-old resident of Stroud. His body was transported to the Oklahoma City Medical Examiner’s Office for further examination.

The driver of the vehicle, along with the 12-year-old passenger, was taken to the hospital for medical attention and later released. The exact cause of the crash is still being investigated by authorities.
