Three men have been taken into custody and one man is wanted following a fatal shooting outside a restaurant in Tunica. The shooting took place on July 3, resulting in the death of Jimmy Dotson. Two men, Charlie Bass Jr. and Quinterrance Vardaman, have been charged in connection with the shooting, while Robert Fleming has been charged with accessory to murder. Jasean French remains at large and is wanted on a first-degree murder charge. Three Men in Custody and One Man Wanted in Connection with Deadly shooting Outside Tunica Restaurant

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Three men have been arrested and another man is currently wanted after a fatal shooting occurred outside a restaurant in Tunica.
The Tunica County Sheriff’s Office has charged Charlie Bass, Jr., Quinterrance Vardaman, and Robert Fleming in the shooting death of 35-year-old Jimmy Dotson.
Dotson, also known as “He-Man,” was fatally shot outside Mexico Grill on Highway 61 North on July 3. He leaves behind six children.
Another individual was also injured in the shooting and has been transported to Regional One in non-critical condition.

Quinterrance Vardaman, 25, was apprehended in Texas and is facing charges of first-degree murder. The sheriff’s office indicates that Vardaman had previously been arrested and charged in connection with the October 2020 murder of Trevon Bell at the Kirby Estates Apartments; however, he has not yet been indicted in that case. Additionally, Vardaman is also facing a first-degree murder charge in Memphis.
Robert Fleming, 26, has been charged with accessory to murder after the fact. He is also being held on unrelated felony charges.
Charlie Bass, 28, is facing charges of possession of a stolen firearm.
The sheriff’s office has identified another suspect, 34-year-old Jasean French, who remains at large and is wanted on a first-degree murder charge. French and Fleming were previously named as persons of interest in the homicide.

Jasean French is considered armed and dangerous, according to the sheriff’s office. Anyone found harboring French in their home or vehicle will face charges of accessory.
