A motorcycle crashed into a home in Mount Pleasant Township, Pennsylvania, resulting in two fatalities. The residents, Jonathan Musgrove and his father, were inside the house at the time of the incident but were unharmed. The two individuals on the motorcycle, Timothy Kuhns and Jennifer Ramsey, were thrown from the bike and sustained severe injuries. Unfortunately, they died at the scene before they could be taken to the hospital. This is not the first fatal crash to occur at the Musgrove’s home, as there was a previous incident 30 years ago. Musgrove has expressed concerns about the safety of the curve on Route 819 and has requested the installation of a guardrail, but the state authorities have deemed it unnecessary. Motorcycle Crash Wreaks Havoc in Mount Pleasant Township

Personal belongings and fragments of a motorcycle are strewn across Jonathan Musgrove’s driveway following a devastating motorcycle accident that occurred last night in Mount Pleasant Township, Pennsylvania.

Musgrove, who was watching TV on his couch at the time, and his father, who was upstairs in bed, rushed outside as soon as they heard a loud bang that shook their house.

Upon stepping out, they discovered their neighbor already dialing 911. The motorcycle riders, identified as Timothy Kuhns and Jennifer Ramsey, had been thrown from the bike and were lying in the yard with severe injuries.

Tragically, both Kuhns and Ramsey succumbed to their injuries before they could reach the hospital, as confirmed by the Westmoreland County Coroner.

The distressing scene haunts Musgrove, who expressed his emotional turmoil, stating, “Every time I closed my eyes, all I could see was…this.”

Shockingly, this is not the first fatal crash to occur at Musgrove’s residence. He recalled an accident that took place approximately 30 years ago, where a man crashed into a tree on his property. Additionally, their front porch has been struck three times between that incident and the recent crash.

Musgrove attributes these accidents to the excessive speed at which vehicles navigate the bend on Route 819. He has pleaded with the state authorities, particularly PennDOT, to improve the safety measures on the curve.

“We’ve discussed the possibility of installing a guard rail with PennDOT, but they deemed it unnecessary,” Musgrove revealed, expressing his frustration.

Channel 11’s Andrew Havranek reached out to PennDOT for a comment but received no response at the time of reporting.

According to the coroner, speed played a significant role in causing this tragic accident. Musgrove, devastated by the loss, offered his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, adding that he had heard the couple was soon to be married.

Currently, Musgrove and his father are temporarily staying in a hotel until power is restored to their home. They are in contact with their insurance company to initiate repairs on their property and one of their vehicles.
