The family of Terry Bishop, a good Samaritan who tragically lost his life in a triple fatal crash, is appealing to witnesses for help in the ongoing investigation. The incident occurred on the Bruce Highway at Federal, with Gypsy Satterley, 25, and Jessica Townley, 38, also losing their lives in the crash.

According to Queensland Police, the collision was caused by 25-year-old Rafferty Rolfe, who allegedly rammed into Mr. Bishop’s vehicle, forcing it to cross onto the wrong side of the road and collide with Ms. Townley’s car. Mr. Bishop’s family is seeking any information that witnesses may have regarding the events leading up to the accident.

Described as a man who would go out of his way to help others, Terry Bishop was traveling to Brisbane to attend a family member’s wedding when the tragedy occurred. His family, devastated by the loss, remembers him as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

It has been revealed that Mr. Bishop, a retiree and former long-term resident of Northgate in Brisbane, may have stopped to give Gypsy Satterley a lift. The two individuals were not acquainted prior to the crash.

Meanwhile, Rafferty Rolfe has been charged with a number of offenses, including dangerous operation of a vehicle. However, he has not been charged with the deaths of Mr. Bishop, Ms. Satterley, or Ms. Townley. His case is scheduled to be mentioned in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Thursday.

The Bishop family’s heartfelt appeal for witnesses highlights the importance of community cooperation in solving such cases. By providing any relevant information, witnesses can contribute to bringing justice to those affected by this horrific tragedy..
