Two teenagers tragically lost their lives in a dirt bike accident in Robeson County, North Carolina. The incident occurred late on Thursday evening, according to an official report. 1st Sgt. S.B. Lewis of the North Carolina Highway Patrol stated that the crash took place around 10 p.m. at the intersection of Modest Road and Winston Road.
The investigation conducted by the NCHP revealed that both the dirt bike and a pickup truck were traveling east on Modest Road at the time of the collision. Unfortunately, the dirt bike had no lights equipped and veered into the middle of the eastbound lane. As a result, the truck struck the bike, with the front bumper wedging the dirt bike in place.
