“Three Fatal Crashes in Troop C Region Leave Victims Dead”

A car crash in Pike County, Missouri has resulted in the death of a person, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. This incident marks the third fatality in the Troop C region on Thursday, with two other fatal crashes occurring on Highway 370 and Interstate 170.

The accident occurred just before 8 p.m. on Thursday when a Chevrolet Cavalier traveling southbound on Highway 79 veered off the left side of the road and collided with a tree. Sadly, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver has been identified as 38-year-old Nicholas Twilla from Louisiana, Missouri.

Earlier in the day, a single-vehicle crash on Highway 370 resulted in the death of one person. A tractor-trailer truck traveling westbound on Highway 370 veered off the right side of the road, struck a concrete traffic barrier, and overturned. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the passenger suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a St. Louis hospital. The victim has been identified as 27-year-old Bret Noble from Wright City, Missouri.

In another incident, a Hyundai Elantra crashed into a BMW that had stopped in one of the southbound lanes of I-170 near St. Louis Lambert International Airport due to mechanical issues. Both vehicles skidded, causing the BMW to hit a concrete barrier. The driver of the Hyundai Elantra was pronounced dead at the scene, while the two men in the BMW suffered minor injuries. The crash victim has been identified as 39-year-old Ronaldo Butler from Ferguson.
