A tragic single-vehicle crash in Fabius Township claimed the life of a 24-year-old man from Vicksburg. The incident took place on Corey Lake Road just east of Knevels Court on Saturday, July 8.

According to the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department, the driver, identified as Triston Bradshaw, was traveling eastbound on Corey Lake Road when his vehicle lost control. It veered off the roadway, striking a tree on the driver’s side and causing the vehicle to roll. Unfortunately, Bradshaw was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities suspect that alcohol and speed were contributing factors to the crash, although the investigation is still ongoing. The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department is working diligently to gather all the necessary information to determine the exact cause of the accident.
