A tragic motorcycle crash in the Town of Weirgor, Wisconsin has claimed the life of a Ladysmith man. According to the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on July 16, 2023, at around 1:53 p.m. Authorities were alerted to the crash on State Highway 48, approximately one mile west of the Village of Exeland near the intersection of Canaday Road.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered the lifeless body of David Hamilton II, the motorcycle’s driver, who hailed from Ladysmith, Wisconsin. It appeared that Hamilton lost control of the motorcycle while traveling eastbound on South Highway 48, causing him to veer off the road and into the ditch.
