In June, a tragic incident occurred in Hurghada, Egypt, when a Russian tourist was attacked and killed by a tiger shark. This unfortunate event marks the first fatality in 2023 due to a shark bite. The horrifying attack was captured on video by onlookers who witnessed the victim swimming and surfacing in a peculiar manner while being attacked by the shark.
