“Victim Fatally Shot, Another Injured in Forest City Shooting”

A shooting incident in Forest City, North Carolina has left one person dead and another injured. The incident, which occurred on Thursday afternoon, is believed to be related to another shooting that took place the day before.

The shooting on Thursday took place at a residence on Harmon Street. Law enforcement authorities are currently searching for a black male who is believed to have fled the scene in a grey sedan.

The previous shooting incident happened early Wednesday morning at a different location. Deputies from the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of gunfire and discovered that the home had been struck several times. Fortunately, none of the occupants were injured.

When officers arrived at the scene of the Thursday shooting, they found one victim in the front yard of the home. The victim, identified as Brandan Gerard Holland, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim, Haley Elizabeth Davis, was airlifted to a hospital and is expected to recover from her injuries.

Authorities have determined that the two shooting incidents are related based on physical evidence at both crime scenes. They are collaborating with the NC State Bureau of Investigation to investigate the incidents further.
