A tragic incident unfolded in a Damascus home on Wednesday night, resulting in the deaths of a 34-year-old man and a 12-year-old boy in what authorities believe to be a murder-suicide. The man, identified as Rickoshay Allen Kerr, is suspected of violating a restraining order against him when he forcefully entered the home. Prior to that, he rammed through a closed gate, causing damage and alerting neighbors who promptly called 911.
Authorities responded swiftly, with deputies arriving at the scene within minutes. As they approached the home, they encountered a car speeding towards them. Fearing for their safety, they fired at the vehicle, shooting out two of its tires. It was later revealed that the driver was a concerned family member and no one was injured in the incident.
