Two suspects have been detained in connection with the deadly shooting of a motorcycle on Interstate 70, as confirmed by the Denver Police Department (DPD). The suspects have been identified as Caesar Ramirez-Rivera, 21, and Nelson Miranda-Rivas, 25. The shooting, which occurred on July 4, resulted in the death of 32-year-old Kyle Van Loozenoord.

Both suspects are currently being held for investigation of first-degree murder. The Denver Police Department is still in the process of investigating the circumstances that led to the shooting. However, the booking photos of the suspects and their arrest affidavits have not been released to the public.

Initially, the DPD was looking into a single-vehicle collision that had happened in the eastbound lanes of I-70. However, it was later discovered that Van Loozenoord had died as a result of a shooting event, not an accident. The DPD has since shifted its focus to the homicide investigation and is working to gather further details.

In a separate incident, a series of shooting incidents were reported in Los Angeles in the early hours of Saturday morning. Authorities are searching for an armed suspect believed to be responsible for a series of rifle shootings in East Los Angeles. The police are currently investigating if the three reported shootings are connected and carried out by the same suspect. The suspected person is described as a man in his 20s to 30s, and he is believed to be driving a sedan in either gray or blue color.

Both the Denver shooting and the Los Angeles shootings highlight the ongoing issue of gun violence in the United States. Authorities are working diligently to apprehend the suspects and bring them to justice..
