“Medford Man Yener Can Pronounced Dead in Calverton Motorcycle Crash”

On Saturday, July 8, a fatal motorcycle accident occurred in Calverton, Long Island. A 39-year-old man, Yener Can, was riding his 2022 Ducati motorcycle southbound on County Road 24 when he collided with a 2010 Honda CRV. The Honda was making a turn onto the northbound lanes from the eastbound Long Island Expressway Exit 71 off-ramp.

Tragically, Yener Can was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office. The driver of the Honda, a 24-year-old man from Shirley, did not sustain any injuries.
