A fatal motor accident near the Tipper Garage, Dutse Baupma area of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Abuja has claimed the lives of at least three people. The accident occurred on Saturday and was confirmed by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh. She stated that four other individuals who were critically injured are currently receiving treatment at the Kubwa General Hospital.
According to the PPRO, the deceased were confirmed dead at the Kubwa General Hospital after traffic personnel from the command arrived at the accident scene and evacuated all the victims. The deceased have been identified as Hosea Stehen, Muhammad Lawal, and Bashir Shaibu, all males from different locations.
The accident involved a Black Toyota Camry, a Toyota Pilot, a Truck, and a Tricycle. Additionally, a Toyota Jeep reportedly belonging to an officer of the Department of State Services was taken from the scene by DSS Personnel from Ushafa, Abuja. The driver of the vehicle has been identified as David C.Y Audu, a male resident of Ushafa.
