Deputies with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office are appealing to the public for assistance in an ongoing homicide investigation. The incident occurred on January 28, when officials received a distress call regarding a potential fatality at a residence on Springhill Church Road in Hamlet.
Upon arrival, responding deputies discovered the lifeless body of a man inside the house, bearing gunshot wounds. The victim has been identified as 29-year-old Damian Ray Brayboy.
