The motive behind this heinous act is believed to be the man’s deteriorating financial condition. Reports indicate that the accused, identified as Tarun Pratap Singh, recorded a video confession confessing to his financial decisions that he believed were wrong and expressing his intention to end his life after taking the lives of his mother, wife, and son.
The horrifying crime took place on Saturday night, leaving the community in shock and grief. Singh had allegedly intended to harm his wife as well, but she was fortunately away visiting relatives at the Khatoo Shyam temple in Rajasthan.
Singh, who had been employed at a PVC pipe factory, had been facing significant financial losses recently. The brutal discovery was made on Sunday morning when the family’s maid, Geeta, arrived at their residence around 8 am.
As Geeta entered the house, she immediately sensed that something was wrong as she found the main door wide open. Upon further investigation, she discovered the lifeless body of Singh’s mother, Brijesh Devi, in her room. Gripped by panic, Geeta hurried to alert the neighbors, who joined her in searching the house. Tragically, they discovered Singh hanging in his room on the first floor, while his son Kushagra lay lifeless on the bed in the adjacent room. Reports indicate that the child’s body showed signs of distress, including blue-tinted nails and evidence of vomiting.
Police Investigation Underway
Local authorities have launched an investigation into this gruesome crime, with initial suspicions pointing towards possible strangulation as the cause of death. The police reportedly found empty cigarette cases at the scene, which may provide crucial evidence in the case.
It has also been revealed that Singh had tragically lost his father just seven months ago. According to reports, he used his late father’s mobile phone to record the video confession, in which he admitted to making financial decisions that he believed were incorrect. In a chilling revelation, Singh expressed his intention to end his own life after taking the lives of his mother, wife, and son.
