Brigadier Jones Arogbofa (retd), the former Chief of Staff to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has passed away.

According to reports, Arogbofa tragically slumped and died on Saturday morning in Abuja. He was 71 years old.

Born on November 10, 1952, in Oka-Akoko, Ondo State, Jones Arogbofa had a remarkable career in the Nigerian Army. He was commissioned in 1973 and served his country with utmost dedication.

Arogbofa served as Jonathan’s Chief of Staff from February 10, 2014, to May 29, 2015, during which time he played a crucial role in the administration. His commitment to public service was evident throughout his career.
