Ottawa Homicide Investigators Identify Suspect in Shooting Death
Ottawa homicide investigators have identified a suspect in connection with the shooting death of a 33-year-old man on Champagne Avenue South in Little Italy.
Jama Roble tragically passed away in hospital on Thursday, succumbing to injuries he sustained during a mid-afternoon shooting on January 29.
Ottawa Police Service confirmed on Friday that 33-year-old Jama Roble, a resident of Ottawa, had died in hospital on Thursday.
The police have named 29-year-old Gibriil Bakal from Edmonton as the suspect wanted for first-degree murder in the death of Jama Roble.
Bakal, who is described as a Black male, stands at six feet one inch tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds (86 kg).
