Veteran BJD Leader V Sugnana Kumari Deo Passes Away at 87
Bhubaneswar, Feb 10 – Veteran BJD leader and 10-time Odisha MLA, V Sugnana Kumari Deo, breathed her last at a private hospital in Chennai on Saturday. She was 87 years old. The sad news of her demise came after Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and other senior party leaders visited her at the hospital the previous night.
V Sugnana Kumari Deo belonged to the royal family of Khallikote and had a long and illustrious political career. Her contributions to the BJD party were immense, and she will be remembered for her dedication and service to the people of Odisha. Her passing has left a void in the political landscape of the state.
